A 35-year-old man, Amarnath Gupta, was taken into custody for allegedly threatening a woman over a period of one-and-a-half months, demanding to meet her. Gupta, who lives alone, reportedly made obscene gestures and committed acts aimed at shaming the complainant.
After enduring this harassment, the woman confided in her mother. When the mother confronted Gupta, he allegedly verbally abused her and threatened her life.
Following the complaint, Yashodhara Nagar Police Station registered a case against Gupta and initiated investigation procedures.
