A South Charleston woman has been sentenced to prison for her role in a methamphetamine trafficking operation, federal prosecutors announced.
Amanda Marie Mace, 43, received a sentence of five years and 10 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia.
Mace admitted to distributing at least 30 pounds of meth between June 2024 and May 2025. Prosecutors said the operation involved drugs transported from Detroit, Michigan, and multiple dealers across West Virginia.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office noted that Mace, who had two prior drug convictions, earned $200 to $300 for each pound of meth sold. The investigation into methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking in the Charleston area led to indictments for 16 individuals.
