LITTLE ROCK — Alreico Wiley, 50, of West Memphis, has been sentenced to 144 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, announced U.S. Attorney Jonathan D. Ross for the Eastern District of Arkansas. The sentence was handed down on December 16, 2025, by U.S. District Judge Lee P. Rudofsky, who also ordered three years of supervised release.
Wiley, a career offender with seven prior felony convictions for controlled substance offenses, pleaded guilty on April 1, 2025, to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. He was also charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl in a two-count indictment filed November 2, 2023.
The investigation began after complaints of Wiley distributing methamphetamine from his residence. On July 27, 2023, DEA agents conducted a search of Wiley’s West Memphis home. They recovered approximately 27 grams of methamphetamine, 2.5 grams of powder fentanyl, 6.6 grams of fentanyl tablets, and two digital scales. Wiley admitted to selling methamphetamine after being transported to the West Memphis Police Department.
Wiley’s prior convictions include possession with intent to deliver cocaine and marijuana, and sales or delivery of cocaine and marijuana, which contributed to his classification as a career offender and the enhanced sentence. Under federal law, there is no parole.
The case was investigated by the West Memphis Police Department with assistance from the DEA, and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Shelby Shelton.
