Alhousseiny Bah, 3 Others Arrested in Menands Drug Bust

Cocaine found after police chase on I-787 in Menands

Menands, NY – Four individuals were arrested on August 7, 2025, following a police pursuit and drug seizure on I-787 in Menands, according to New York State Police.

The suspects — Alhousseiny Bah, 31, of New York; Hadja Bah, 23, of Brooklyn; Mamadou Balde; and Mamadou Diallo, 28, of St. Albans — face multiple felony charges, including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd and 5th degrees.

Mamadou Diallo, the driver, was additionally charged with:

Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle (3rd degree)

Obstructing Governmental Administration (2nd degree)

Several Vehicle and Traffic Law violations

The incident began around 12:29 AM when troopers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. Diallo allegedly refused to comply, prompting a pursuit that lasted approximately two miles before the vehicle came to a stop.

Authorities identified Alhousseiny Bah, Hadja Bah, and Mamadou Balde as passengers in the car.

Upon investigation, troopers discovered a quantity of cocaine inside the vehicle, packaged in multiple individual plastic bags, indicating intent to distribute.

All four suspects were arrested and processed at State Police Latham (SP Latham). They were later transported to the Albany County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.
