Albertville Man Luther Burton Banks Charged with Attempted Murder

Luther Burton Banks arrested for knife assault in Marshall County, bond set at $250,000

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A man has been charged with attempted murder in Marshall County following an alleged assault on April 3. According to records, Luther Burton Banks Jr. was arrested on a warrant for aggravated assault and attempted murder.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office told News 19 that a man filed a report claiming that Banks assaulted him with a knife at a residence off Todd Ridge Road in Albertville. Court documents indicate the incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on March 28.

Banks was arrested at his home and booked into the Marshall County Jail with a $250,000 bond. His pretrial hearing is scheduled for May 7.
