BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. — Six people were arrested Friday in two separate drug investigations, including one man found hiding in a suitcase inside a closet.
In the first case, the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team responded to a home on Stilson Leefield Road in Brooklet seeking parolee Alan Kitchens, 26, wanted for drug sales. Officers discovered Kitchens hiding in a suitcase in a bedroom closet. Investigators also found drugs in the home, and several family members were arrested.
Charges included:
Alan Kitchens, 26: two counts of sale of methamphetamine, and one count each of sale of heroin, morphine, oxycodone, marijuana, obstruction, and probation violation.
Theresa Kitchens, 29: possession of methamphetamine, hydrocodone, dextroamphetamine, and obstruction.
Rudolph Kitchens, 55 and Alicia Kitchens, 47: obstruction.
All were transported to Bulloch County Jail.
Later Friday, investigators arrested Arizona Zeb Connell, 27, at a convenience store for outstanding warrants and possession of heroin. His passenger, Addison Reddick, 23, was found with crack cocaine. Connell faces charges including party to the sale of oxycodone and methamphetamine, possession of heroin, and attempted sale of heroin. Reddick was charged with possession of cocaine.
