LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Two suspects have been charged with capital murder in connection to a deadly July 4 shooting in Little Rock.
According to the Little Rock Police Department, officers were dispatched to Karen Court at approximately 9:42 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, authorities found 62-year-old Frederick Williams lying unresponsive in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite life-saving efforts by MEMS, Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
The next day, July 5, police arrested Al-Malik Diamond, 40, and Anna Rodgers, 46, both of Little Rock. The pair has been formally charged with capital murder, and the investigation remains ongoing.
No further details have been released regarding the motive or circumstances of the incident.
