Akshat Kothari Arrested for IPS Marriage Fraud

Akshat Kothari, a man accused of masquerading as an IPS officer, has been arrested in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, after evading authorities for over two years.

The Banswara Cyber Police, led by Inspector Hari Om, revealed that Kothari used social media to create a false identity as a high-ranking IPS officer. Exploiting this deception, he fraudulently married a woman in Banswara.

Authorities confirmed that 19 separate cheating cases have been registered against Kothari. He is currently in police custody, and further investigations are ongoing to uncover any additional victims.

Police have assured that legal proceedings will follow, and the public is being urged to exercise caution against similar online scams.
