A Greenville man is facing multiple criminal charges after being arrested by police on Wednesday.
Ahmed Moore, 26, has been charged with a combination of theft and drug-related offenses, according to a magistrate’s order. The charges include:
Felony larceny of a motor vehicle
Felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle
Misdemeanor simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance
Misdemeanor driving with a revoked license
Authorities allege that Moore stole a gray 2017 Chevrolet Trax SUV and was later found in possession of marijuana. He was also reportedly driving on a revoked license at the time of his arrest.
Moore was taken into custody by Greenville Police and is currently being held at the Pitt County Detention Center on a $25,000 secured bond.
