Kenner, LA — Ahkeema Love, a woman romantically linked to New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson, was arrested on Monday after being accused of stalking and assaulting another woman also connected to the NBA player.

Sources confirm that Love allegedly harassed the victim, whom she believed was romantically involved with Williamson. The accusations include physically assaulting the woman, hitting her and damaging her property by egging her house. Love is also said to have threatened the woman on social media.

According to police reports, the incident took place at Williamson’s house. On Monday, Love allegedly entered the victim’s residence, grabbed her hair, and struck her with keys. The victim suffered lacerations to her face, and her fingernails were reportedly torn off during the altercation. Love fled the scene, but police later apprehended her in the Gabriel development, a gated community in Kenner, known for its luxury homes and scenic views of Lake Pontchartrain.

Love was taken to court on Tuesday, where her bond was set at $50,000 for charges of home invasion, aggravated battery, and stalking. The judge also issued a no-contact order, requiring Love to stay away from the victim, and instructed her to surrender a firearm she owned.

Love’s attorney, Brian Capitelli, declined to comment when approached by WDSU but appeared in court on her behalf.

Zion Williamson, meanwhile, is recovering from an injury-riddled 2024-25 season, where he played just 30 games. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft had a standout season last year, averaging 24.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in a career-high 70 games.
