Afzalgunj Police have apprehended 39-year-old Md. Riyaz Uddin, also known as Riyaz, a liquor depot worker from Amberpet, for allegedly stealing three motorcycles. The vehicles have been recovered.
The arrest came after P. Mahender, an office subordinate at Osmania General Hospital, filed a complaint on February 11. He reported that his motorcycle was stolen from the hospital parking area between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. that day.
Police investigation led to Riyaz, who is now in custody as authorities continue to look into the thefts.
