RALEIGH COUNTY, W.Va. — A local man has been arrested on multiple fraud-related charges following an investigation by the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
On January 2, 2026, Corporal R. McDaniel investigated a complaint involving Adam Wayne Quesenberry. After gathering evidence, authorities obtained warrants charging Quesenberry with grand larceny, three counts of fraudulent schemes, and three counts of obtaining money by false pretenses.
Quesenberry was subsequently taken into custody, according to Sheriff Frank Priddy, who credited Cpl. McDaniel for leading the investigation that resulted in the arrest.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the alleged fraud or the amount of money involved.
