Days after actor Srikanth’s arrest in a drug abuse case, actor Krishna — known for films like Veera, Kalari, Maari 2, and Kazhugu 2 — has also been arrested and is currently in police custody. Krishna’s arrest is linked to the same drug investigation that led to Srikanth’s detainment.
Police reportedly interrogated Krishna for over 17 hours, examining incriminating bank transactions, phone records, and connections to a political party member. The probe intensified following the arrest of a man named Pradeep, who allegedly admitted to supplying drugs to Prasad, a former AIADMK IT wing member.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities seek to unravel the extent of the drug network involving film personalities and political figures.
