Abdul Kareem Fawaz Charged with Murder in London Knife Attack

Man accused in stabbing death of Daniel Manuel, SW8

LONDON — Abdul Kareem Fawaz, a 35-year-old Nigerian man, has been charged with murder and possession of a knife following the death of 32-year-old Daniel Manuel. The incident occurred at a residential address in Bondway, SW8, on July 5, where Manuel was found with fatal knife injuries.

Fawaz has a criminal history in the United States, having served two years in prison for defrauding victims in Texas of nearly $1 million. His 2017 conviction included aggravated identity theft, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and aiding and abetting.

Currently remanded in custody, Fawaz is scheduled to appear before Croydon Magistrates’ Court on July 7. A 33-year-old man arrested alongside him has been released on bail as investigations continue.
