Two Kurdish men, Abdol Rasouli and Keyvan Soleimani, have been arrested by Iranian Intelligence Department forces without court-issued warrants, according to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
On June 19, 2025, Keyvan Soleimani, 39, from Simineh district in Bukan, was arrested during a raid on his family’s home. He was initially held at a security facility in Urmia for eleven days before being transferred to Bukan Prison.
A day earlier, on June 18, Abdol Rasouli, 37, from the village of Tazehabad Doleh Rash in Divandarreh, was also arrested by intelligence forces and taken to an undisclosed location. More than twelve days later, his whereabouts remain unknown.
Both arrests were reportedly conducted without legal warrants, and no official charges or reasons for the detentions have been disclosed.
Human rights advocates are raising concerns about the legality of these actions and the safety of the detainees amid Iran’s ongoing crackdown on Kurdish citizens.
