Aaron Wardrip Arrested for Burglary at Dr. Pepper Bottling Factory

Man caught stealing soda, charged with burglary and trespassing

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) — A man was arrested by Madisonville Police for burglary after being caught stealing soda from the Dr. Pepper Bottling factory.

Officers responded to the factory Saturday evening after reports of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, they located Aaron Wardrip on the premises.

Wardrip admitted to police that he, along with two others, trespassed onto the property by entering through a fence in a backyard on Madison Avenue.

He said his intent was to take soda from the bottling facility. Police recovered two 12-packs of RC Cola belonging to the Dr. Pepper factory.

Wardrip was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including possession of burglary tools, third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespassing, and theft of property valued under $500.
