In a special drive ordered by SSP Kartikeya Sharma, Patna Police seized smack and heroin worth Rs 45 lakh and arrested two individuals involved in drug trafficking.
A team conducted a raid at a house in Sainchak, under Beur Police Station, and apprehended Santosh Prasad and Aman Kumar. During the operation, police recovered 870 grams of smack and Rs 80,000 in cash.
Authorities reported that the duo had been peddling drugs in the Kankarbagh and Patna City areas, supplying narcotics to local users.
The arrested individuals have been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway to identify other members of the drug network and trace the source of the contraband.
