FARGO, N.D. — A North Dakota man has pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking and firearms charges linked to a multi-state conspiracy distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl across North Dakota, Nevada, and Montana.

Scott Alexander Raski, also known as “McNasty,” entered guilty pleas Thursday in U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota. Prosecutors will recommend a 20-year prison sentence under a plea agreement filed December 4.

Raski admitted to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances from January 2021 to October 2022, involving more than 500 grams of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Court documents indicate the operation used interstate travel, rental vehicles, wire transfers, and social media platforms like Facebook to coordinate drug sales. Activities were based out of Minot, North Dakota, and the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation.

On May 25, 2022, Raski possessed approximately 140 grams of methamphetamine and 3 grams of fentanyl with intent to distribute. He also pleaded guilty to possessing two firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking: a Charter Arms .38 Special revolver and a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver, which must be forfeited.

The plea agreement calls for 180 months imprisonment on drug charges to run concurrently, plus 60 months consecutive on the firearms charge, totaling 20 years. Additional terms include five years of supervised release and dismissal of two other counts. If the court rejects the agreement, Raski faces life imprisonment and potential fines in the millions.

Raski waived most appeal rights and cannot withdraw his guilty plea. A jury trial had been scheduled for April 14, 2026. Raski remains in custody at Barnes County Jail, and a sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
