MANITOWOC, Wis. — Three men from Virginia were arrested in Manitowoc Monday after authorities discovered over 25 pounds of methamphetamine, estimated at $250,000, officials said.
The suspects—Karonn Hamilton, Andre Allen, and Corven Jones—appeared in Manitowoc County court Wednesday for bail hearings. Jones was held on a $500,000 cash bond, Hamilton on $550,000, and Allen on $600,000.
Law enforcement, including the DEA and Metro Drug Unit, coordinated the arrest using a SWAT team. Authorities reported finding more than 11,000 grams of methamphetamine inside a vehicle, along with loaded firearms, one of which had been reported stolen from Virginia.
Investigators believe the trio traveled from Virginia to Manitowoc to deliver the drugs. During the hearing, Jones insisted he did not handle the drugs, expressing concern for his daughter and the upcoming holiday season. Allen questioned bail procedures, while Hamilton remained silent.
Formal charges have yet to be filed. All three are scheduled to return to court Monday. Authorities have not released the exact location of the arrest.
