ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. – Three men have been sentenced to life in prison for their roles in a double murder in Adams County.

In August 2023, 26-year-old Brandon Brooks and 24-year-old Taron Woods were shot and killed in broad daylight in a neighborhood in what authorities described as a “brazen, ambush-style killing.”

Jadarrius McKnight, Jamarion Perkins, and Emmanuel Hill, among four suspects arrested in connection with the case, were found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder on Saturday.

The court sentenced each of the three men to two consecutive life sentences in prison.
