PAWNEE COUNTY, Okla. — A registered sex offender is back behind bars just seven weeks after her release from prison.
Deputies say Amy Hargrove was taken into custody after she was found unresponsive inside her SUV at an RV park and campground. According to the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office, Hargrove appeared intoxicated, admitted to drinking, and had a cup containing alcohol inside the vehicle.
Hargrove had previously been sentenced in 2024 to 18 months in prison for sexually abusing two teenage boys in Rogers County. She served 14 months and was released in September.
Now, deputies say she faces new charges, including entering a prohibited safety zone near a park or playground as a registered sex offender, as well as multiple alcohol-related offenses.
