A 29-year-old man from Rajasthan was arrested on Wednesday for possessing and selling opium in the city. The accused, Rakesh Kurjar from Pali district, was apprehended by the Prohibition Enforcement Wing (PEW) police after a tip-off.

Authorities conducted a search near the Central Railway Station and recovered 1.70 kg of opium from his possession. The arrest underscores ongoing efforts by the PEW to curb illegal drug trade in the region.
