NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) – A popular YouTuber with more than 10 million subscribers is facing a tax evasion charge in Tennessee. Court records show that Cody Shane Detwiler, widely known online as “WhistlinDiesel,” was indicted in Williamson County earlier this month.
The charge is connected to his purchase of a 2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo. According to the indictment, Detwiler and his company, WhistlinDiesel, LLC, “unlawfully attempted to evade or defeat any tax due to the state of Tennessee of $500 or more.”
Detwiler acknowledged the arrest on Instagram, writing, “Won so big they thought I was cheating. (100% real, not AI).”
