Kip Hargrove Arrested for Meth in Evansville

Former manslaughter convict faces multiple drug charges

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Evansville Police Department officials report that 47-year-old Kip Hargrove, previously convicted of manslaughter, has been arrested on multiple drug charges.

Authorities received tips in early November that Hargrove was dealing meth in the area. Officers subsequently raided a motel room where he was staying and discovered multiple bags of methamphetamine, along with ledgers containing names and debts.

Hargrove is now held without bond and faces the following charges:

4 Counts of Manufacturing/Dealing Methamphetamine

Possession of Marijuana

Controlled Substance – Dealing

Hargrove has a criminal history that includes charges in other states for voluntary manslaughter and felony drug distribution.
