BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Birmingham last month.
The Birmingham Police Department reported that 19-year-old Markel Berry and 21-year-old Marlik Berry are facing charges of attempted murder, discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle, and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.
The incident occurred on Thursday, September 11, in the 2200 block of Bessemer Road.
Police took Markel Berry into custody in the 900 block of Powder Plant Road in Bessemer, while Marlik Berry was arrested in the 5700 block of Kings Drive in Birmingham. Both are currently held at the Jefferson County Jail.
