CULLMAN, Ala. — A Cullman woman, Sara Baker, has been arrested on multiple serious charges, including attempted murder, according to police officials.
Baker was taken into custody on Tuesday by Cullman Police Department investigators and is currently held at the Cullman County Detention Center pending bond.
She faces the following charges:
Conspiracy to commit murder
Three counts of attempted murder
Distribution of a controlled substance
Second-degree elder abuse
Four counts of solicitation to commit a controlled substance crime
Second-degree domestic violence
The Cullman Police Department acknowledged the assistance of District Attorney Champ Crocker, the Cullman County District Attorney’s Office, and the FBI North Alabama Violent Crimes Task Force and FBI Safe Streets Task Force in the investigation.
Police emphasized that the investigation is ongoing, and further information will be released as it becomes available.
