A Michigan father facing murder charges related to the disappearance of his three sons will have his probable cause hearing in December.
John Skelton, 53, of Morenci, is charged with three counts of murder in connection to the disappearance of his sons: Andrew, 9; Alexander, 7; and Tanner, 5, who were last seen on November 25, 2010.
The charges were filed just two weeks before Skelton’s scheduled release from a 15-year prison sentence for three counts of unlawful imprisonment after he failed to return the boys following a court-ordered visitation.
Skelton’s probable cause hearing is set for December 17 at 1 p.m. in Lenawee County 2A District Court after being postponed from the original date, court administrators said.
The boys were formally declared dead in March at the request of their mother, Tanya Zuvers. At that time, a judge denied a request to formally declare that Skelton had murdered them.
