Fairfield Man Charged with Terroristic Threats

Phillip Allen faces multiple charges including domestic violence

FAIRFIELD, Ala. — A Fairfield man is facing multiple charges, including making a terrorist threat, after allegedly targeting a woman in his community.

Phillip Earl Allen, Jr., 40, is being held in the Jefferson County Jail in Bessemer on a $109,000 bond. Court records indicate Allen allegedly made repeated threats of violence toward the woman. Earlier this month, he is accused of firing four gunshots outside her home, prompting the victim to leave her residence and stay in a hotel.

Allen also allegedly broke into the woman’s vehicle to take a gun and a purse containing her debit cards.

In addition to terroristic threats, he faces charges including:

Domestic violence-stalking

Intimidating a witness

Criminal mischief

Theft of property

The case remains under investigation as authorities continue pursuing charges related to the alleged threats and criminal activity.
