Five Florence Residents Arrested in Drug Raid

Police seize fentanyl and marijuana in home search

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – Five people were taken into custody and drugs were seized Thursday after officers executed a search warrant at a Florence home.

Members of the Florence Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, working with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit, searched a residence on North Alexander Street as part of an ongoing investigation.

All five individuals found in the home were arrested:

Calvin Waiters-Hunter, 33 – charged with trafficking fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Ali’k Jeffery, 29 – charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Mary Jones, 32 – charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Ambria Brunson, 29 – charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Doretha Hayes, 60 – arrested on an active shoplifting warrant issued by the Florence Police Department.

Police confirmed that both fentanyl and marijuana were seized during the search.

All five suspects remain at the Florence County Detention Center, where they are awaiting bond.
