DAVISON COUNTY, S.D. — Eight men and one woman have been indicted for involvement in a cocaine distribution network, South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley announced.
The suspects were indicted by a Davison County Grand Jury on October 29, facing a total of 36 felony charges, all related to cocaine offenses.

Milton Velasques-Barrera, 35, Mitchell: 6 counts distribution in a drug-free zone, 6 counts distribution, 2 counts possession, 1 count conspiracy.
Brian Medrano-Eudales, 32, Mitchell: Conspiracy, distribution in a drug-free zone, possession.
Estuardo Corado, 31, Mitchell: Multiple counts of distribution, possession, and distribution in a drug-free zone.
Guillermo Hernandez, 27, Mitchell: Conspiracy, distribution, distribution in a drug-free zone, possession.
Josselin Zuniga, 32, Mitchell: Conspiracy, accessory to a crime.
Timothy Antoine, 50, Mitchell: Conspiracy.
Jorge Prendes, 39, Mitchell: Conspiracy.
Hector Cartagena, 38, Ethan: Conspiracy.
Michael Morrison, 47, Mitchell: Conspiracy.
The charges occurred between March 1 and September 1, 2025. Three defendants—Velasques-Barrera, Hernandez, and Zuniga—are from Guatemala and face immigration charges in addition to drug offenses.
Potential Penalties
Distribution of a controlled substance: up to 10 years (mandatory minimum 1 year)
Distribution in a drug-free zone: 5 years mandatory minimum
Conspiracy: up to 5 years
Accessory to a crime: up to 5 years
The Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case.
