The Govindaraja Nagar Police arrested Aravind Venkatesh Reddy, businessman and founder of AVR Group, on Monday at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). The arrest followed a lookout notice issued to prevent him from leaving or entering the country in connection with a sexual harassment case.
Aravind Venkatesh Reddy, also a real-estate entrepreneur, film producer, and former owner of the Bellary Tuskers cricket team, was apprehended shortly after landing from Sri Lanka, where he had traveled for a cricket-related event. Authorities confirmed that the arrest is part of the ongoing investigation into allegations made against him.
Police are currently taking statements and gathering further evidence related to the case.
