THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – A stolen minivan led to a multi-county high-speed chase involving Alyssa Wilson, 29, on November 10, 2025, Ventura County authorities reported.

The pursuit began at a sober living home on East Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks, where deputies received a report that Wilson had stolen a grey 2004 Toyota Sienna from a 25-year-old resident. Wilson, who also lived at the facility, refused to stop when deputies attempted a traffic stop in Simi Valley.

The chase intensified as Wilson drove eastbound on the 118 Freeway, reaching speeds of up to 90 mph. The pursuit spanned Ventura, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties before Wilson crossed the U.S.-Mexico border near San Ysidro around 1:30 p.m. She later reentered the U.S., where U.S. Customs officers detained her and transferred her to the California Highway Patrol in San Diego.

No injuries or collisions were reported, and the stolen minivan was recovered. Officials confirmed Wilson was experiencing a mental health crisis during the incident. Charges against her are pending, and the investigation remains ongoing.
