Payyannur Police Arrest 3 with 166g MDMA

Kerala Police Seize Drugs on Perumba Bypass

In a major drug crackdown, Payyannur police in Kannur, Kerala, arrested three men in possession of 166.68 grams of MDMA.

The arrests took place late Thursday night, March 27, at a lodge on the Perumba bypass road. The accused were identified as:

Mohammed Shamnad, 35, from Kozhikode

P.K.A. Asif, 29, from Vadakkumbad, Ramanthali

Mohammed Muhad Mustafa, 29, from Vadakkumbad, Ramanthali

The suspects and the seized MDMA have been taken into police custody for further investigation. Authorities are probing connections to wider drug-trafficking networks in the region.
