FOLEY, Mo. — A Foley man has been charged with murder following a shooting in Lincoln County on Monday, November 10.
At 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Harmony Harbor Road and Falstaff Road after reports of an assault with possible shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found a victim dead from a gunshot wound, which entered the back and exited the front torso.
Court documents reveal the shooting occurred during a marijuana transaction arranged via Snapchat. The victim and two others had planned to steal marijuana from the suspect, identified as K.S., when the fatal encounter happened.
Brenden Antonio Brown, a friend of K.S., allegedly fired multiple shots at the victim with a 9mm pistol as the victim approached the vehicle without the agreed payment and attempted to take the marijuana. Brown reportedly continued firing as he drove away.
Investigators recovered the firearm at Brown’s residence and found multiple shell casings on his vehicle. Brown was taken into custody and claimed the shooting was in “self-defense.”

First-Degree Murder
Three counts of Armed Criminal Action
Two counts of First-Degree Assault or Attempt
Four counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon
Brown is being held without bond at Lincoln County Jail.
