The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the missing gold from the Sabarimala temple has arrested former Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) president N Vasu, according to official sources on Tuesday.
Vasu, who previously served twice as the TDB Commissioner before taking charge as president in November 2019, was taken into custody following an extensive interrogation session, sources revealed.
The arrest of N Vasu — known for his close ties with the top leadership of the Kerala state government — marks one of the most prominent detentions so far in the ongoing Sabarimala temple gold disappearance probe.
