LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — A Lincoln man was arrested Tuesday after a no-knock search warrant led to the discovery of drugs, firearms, and cash at his home, according to police.
The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) said the arrest followed an ongoing cocaine distribution investigation. During the search of 44-year-old Eddie Love’s home near 98th Street and Old Cheney Road, officers found:
151.6 grams of cocaine
1.2 grams of marijuana
A THC vape pen, marijuana grinder and pipe
A digital scale with suspected cocaine residue
Investigators also searched Love’s vehicle, where they discovered additional marijuana products and an amphetamine pill, court documents show.
Inside Love’s room, police said they recovered eight firearms, including three stolen guns, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and $270 in cash.
Love was arrested and booked into the Lancaster County Jail on the following charges:
Possession of a controlled substance (cocaine)
Possession of 140 grams or more of cocaine
Possession of money intended for drug transactions
His bond was set at 10% of $500,000, and his next court hearing is scheduled for November 18, according to authorities.
