NAB Arrests Four More in Kohistan Rs40B Scam

Total Arrests Rise to 36 in Major Corruption Case

KOHISTAN, Pakistan — The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has arrested four additional suspects in the ongoing Rs40 billion corruption scandal in Kohistan, bringing the total number of arrests to 36, according to The News.

The latest arrests occurred during operations in Kohistan and Abbottabad. Those taken into custody include contractors Syed Nasser and Gul Zada, government official Nawabzada, and private individual Sabr Jamil.

During the operations, NAB also recovered Rs18 million in cash. The corruption case involves widespread financial mismanagement and has attracted significant public attention in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohistan region.

Authorities have stated that investigations are ongoing and more arrests may follow as the bureau works to hold all responsible parties accountable.
