MANHATTAN, Kan. – A Manhattan woman has been arrested following a police investigation into a burglary and credit card misuse case that began earlier this year.

According to the Riley County Police Department, officers originally filed the report on June 15, 2025, around 7 p.m., listing Beto’s Meat Market as the victim. Investigators say a known individual had unlawfully used a credit card at the business. The case involved allegations of burglary, theft of property or services, and criminal use of a financial card.

On November 4, officers arrested Tiffany Fernandez, 43, of Manhattan, in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. She was taken into custody on requested charges of burglary, theft of property or services, and criminal use of a financial card.

Police say Fernandez was issued a $10,000 bond and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released additional details.
