The Land Fraud Investigation Wing (LFIW) has apprehended four individuals in Madipakkam for allegedly attempting to seize a property using forged documents.
Police reports stated that N. Sundar (68) of Thousand Lights had purchased a 2,840-sq.ft plot in Sadasivam Nagar and registered it in his name. M. Rani (65) of T. Nagar allegedly created forged documents claiming ownership of the land and prepared a settlement deed favoring her son Rameshkumar (40). Following this, a fraudulent sale deed was executed in the name of S. Selvanagarajan (57) of Kandanchavadi.
The arrested individuals are currently under investigation as authorities work to uncover the full scope of the property fraud.
