WAILUKU (HawaiiNewsNow) — Maui police are investigating an alleged investment scam in which a local man lost more than $50,000.
According to court documents, the fraudulent activity occurred between August 9, 2022, and April 17, 2023.
Authorities have charged Jeffrey William Snyder, 57, with first-degree theft in connection with the case. Police say they are continuing to search for Snyder as the investigation unfolds.
