The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police have arrested three men from Andhra Pradesh for their alleged involvement in large-scale online investment frauds that targeted unsuspecting victims across India.
The accused have been identified as Madathala Ramesh Reddy (25), Gandi Srinu (31), and Gurrapūkonda Sridhar (43). Police said the trio played a key role in aiding and facilitating fraudulent online investment schemes that duped numerous victims of significant sums of money.
All three were apprehended in connection with three separate cases registered at the Cyber Crime Police Station, Hyderabad. Investigators believe the accused acted as intermediaries for larger cybercrime networks operating from multiple states.
Authorities are currently analyzing digital evidence and financial transactions to trace the fund flow and main handlers behind the scams. Police have also urged citizens to remain cautious about online investment offers promising high returns, emphasizing that such schemes are often fronts for cyber fraud.
This operation marks a major success for the Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police in their continued efforts to curb online financial crimes and dismantle digital fraud networks across the country.
