DARLINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Chris Shutack, 49, of Darlington, is facing multiple charges after allegedly shooting a woman in her leg during an early-morning argument, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident occurred around 5 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Moffett Drive. Authorities say Shutack first choked and pushed the woman before firing a shot that struck her lower leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to recover.
Court records show Shutack is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, strangulation, tampering with or fabricating evidence, simple assault, and possessing a firearm while prohibited.
Shutack is currently being held at Beaver County Prison with bail set at $200,000.
