Kalu & Karan Arrested in Kshitij Murder Case

Four Held Over MIG Area Youth Killing in Indore

by Ananya Mehta

In a swift police operation, four individuals were arrested in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Kshitij in Indore’s MIG area on Tuesday.

Additional DCP Amarendra Singh said the arrested include Abhishek alias Kalu, a resident of Sundar Nagar, Karan of Ayodhyapuri, and two of their associates. Kalu and Karan, the primary accused, are known history-sheeters with multiple previous cases and were under active police surveillance prior to the incident.

The murder occurred just a day after a dispute between rival groups, believed to be a result of a power struggle in the area. Both Kalu and Karan had recently been publicly paraded and made to fill dossiers where they pledged to renounce crime. Authorities suspect the killing was fueled by longstanding rivalry between the factions.

In a separate case, Dwarkapuri police arrested five suspects in a violent incident involving knives and firearms. The attack in Digvijay Nagar left Mahesh dead and his associate Mansoor injured. In retaliation, Ramesh and his wife, Jullu Bai, were also injured, allegedly by Mithun, Ramesh’s son, and his associates.

Following Mahesh’s death, his family staged a commotion at the hospital, demanding strict action against the perpetrators. Police continue investigations into both cases to uncover further connections and motives.
