Six Arrested in Nuh Cybercrime Network Bust

Ayush Yadav Leads Crackdown on Online Scam Ring

by Ananya Mehta

In a significant breakthrough, the cyber police in Nuh district have dismantled a multi-state cybercrime network with the arrest of six individuals. Officials identified the accused as Arshad, Wasim, Aamir, Sabir Khan, Jalaluddin, and Satyam Singh.

According to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ayush Yadav, the group was allegedly involved in a range of online crimes, including fraud, sextortion, and impersonation. The accused reportedly deceived victims by posing as bank officials and representatives, convincing them to share confidential information under false pretenses.

ASP Yadav stated that the syndicate extracted large sums of money from unsuspecting victims through sophisticated scams. The investigation revealed that each member of the group played a distinct role—some operated fake social media accounts, while others facilitated fraudulent sales of collectibles such as old coins.

The cybercrime ring spanned multiple Indian states, using interstate IPs and phone numbers to obscure their tracks. Authorities are continuing their probe to trace other members and collaborators linked to the operation.
