Delhi Police have solved the shocking murder of a 5-year-old boy within 24 hours. The accused, identified as Nitu Saday, was apprehended by a joint team from PS Narela, the Anti Auto Theft Squad (AATS), and the Special Staff. Police recovered blood-stained clothes from his possession.
On October 21, at around 3:30 PM, the NIA Police Station received a kidnapping report, later transferred to Narela Police Station. The complainant stated that his young son went missing while playing outside his house.
Investigations revealed that Nitu, the complainant’s driver, had a prior altercation with a co-worker, Wasim, which escalated after a reprimand from the employer. Angered by this, Nitu allegedly lured the child to his rented room and killed him using bricks and a knife. The child was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead. A case under Section 103(1) of the BNS was registered at Narela PS.
Police tracked Nitu’s movements through CCTV footage, technical surveillance, and secret information, locating him in the Malkaganj area of Delhi. He was promptly arrested and during interrogation, confessed to the crime, detailing his motive and role.
