CCB Arrests Seven in Kalaburagi PSI Scam Case, Including Main Accused Divya Hagargi

Officials seize Rs 43,000 during raid at Divya Hagargi’s residence

Kalaburagi, Karnataka: The Crime and Criminal Branch (CCB) police have arrested seven individuals, including Divya Hagargi, the main accused in the ongoing PSI scam case, following a raid at her residence on Old Jewargi Road in Kalaburagi city.

Divya Hagargi, the former president of the Government Employees Union, along with Raju Lengati, Shivsharanappa Mashal, Ravindra Manakar, Bhagwan Jakori, Mallinath Mammangalagi, and Sangamesh Naganahalli, were apprehended during the operation.

According to CCB officials, the raid was conducted after receiving information that Divya Hagargi was gambling with a group at her residence near P&T quarters, located under Station Bazar police station limits. Several of the arrested individuals are government employees.

Police sources confirmed that Rs 43,000 was seized on the spot. A case has been registered at Station Bazar Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
