The police have arrested a key suspect, Dhanush Narayanaswamy, in connection with an online investment scam that defrauded a doctor in Ulloor of over Rs3.43 crore.
Dhanush, a native of Bengaluru, was taken into custody on September 29. He was subsequently brought to Kerala on September 30, where the Thiruvananthapuram Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court remanded him in custody for further investigation.
Authorities continue to probe the case to uncover the full extent of the racket.
