BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Bristol Township man has been sentenced to two to four years in state prison after investigators uncovered more than 12,000 child pornography files on his electronic devices.

Jacob N. Mamolou, sentenced on October 1, 2025, by Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr., had previously pleaded guilty on June 26 to one count of child pornography. In addition to prison time, he received five years of consecutive probation and must register as a sex offender for 15 years under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).

The Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crime Unit launched an investigation into Mamolou on December 4, 2024, after identifying a computer user who had requested large quantities of suspected child pornography. That user’s IP address was traced to a Verizon account registered to Mamolou at his residence on Azalea Lane in Bristol Township.

A search warrant executed on January 22, 2025, led to the seizure of 45 electronic devices from Mamolou’s home, where he was the sole occupant. Investigators discovered extensive digital evidence, including more than 12,000 media files containing illegal content.

A custom-built PC tower held an 8TB encrypted drive with 11,886 images and videos. The hard drives also contained documents tying the device directly to Mamolou, including a utility bill in his name, credit card info, and linked email accounts.

A forensic examination of his Google Pixel 6 phone revealed an additional 86 files containing illegal media. The content depicted children under 18, with some as young as 18 months, involved in prohibited sexual acts.

The case was investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crime Unit, with assistance from the Bristol Township Police Department and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office. Deputy District Attorney Monica W. Furber prosecuted the case.
