Trevonte Toussaint Pleads No Contest in Dark Web Child Porn Case

Omaha man admits to running chatroom selling illicit content

by Sophia Bennett

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) — Trevonte Toussaint, 23, pleaded no contest Friday to charges involving visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct related to child pornography.

The possession charge was dropped as part of a plea agreement.

Omaha Police initially investigated Toussaint on firearms-related crimes but discovered child sexual abuse material on his phone during the probe.

Court documents reveal Toussaint admitted to administering a dark web chatroom where he advertised child pornography and violent videos.

Investigators allege Toussaint used the illicit content to scam users by sharing a sample image, accepting payment for access to more material, and then blocking the buyer without delivering the files.
