Colva, Goa: Colva Police arrested four members of the Bepari family on Monday for allegedly slaughtering two bulls illegally near their residence in Bandhar, Seraulim.
Acting on a tip-off received around 2:30 PM, police officers reached the location and discovered the remains of two bulls, including meat and skins that had been removed. These have been seized and preserved as evidence for further investigation.
The individuals arrested have been identified as Shahruk Bepari (26), Hussain Bepari (60), Wasim Bepari (21), and Shabir Bepari (45). All four are believed to be involved in the act and were taken into custody at the scene.
